After the Cornell game, he said in his press conference that he's had a slightly torn MCL since Minnesota and had surgery when he first arrived in LA. His knee gets swollen and fills up with fluid and needs to be drained after games. He also injured his hamstring recently so the staff wants him to take it easy. It's probably more of a pain management situation, but he only gets one year at USC so he's probably going to play more in conference games where USC needs his production to win.

He was impressive against Cornell. I hope he is ready to go for the start of pac 12 play I think he will be a big factor in how well we perform without Bennie. We need to maintain an 8 man rotation.
Some games Nic R. is going to play like a freshman, and we need to keep metu out of foul trouble.
He has been through a big 10 conference schedule and gives us experience
