Last night SC played OK against a good team, gave it away with missed FT at the end of regulation, but scrapped out a win
Until Bennie comes back, moving Aaron into his spot is the best way to go. He had one of those nights last night, and if he doesn't go o'fer they probably win without much trouble.
Mathews was the player of the game, and that was encouraging. Nicky Rak made some huge plays down the stretch too.
It is pretty clear that when the game is on the line, JMac takes he shot. That might change with Bennie returns, but he is the leader of this team.
Defensive rebounding remains an issue, particularly when Metu goes for the block.
At this point it is UCLA and everyone else in the Pac 12, so if they play like they are capable this can be a memorable season.
