Both are struggling big time right now. It will be interesting to see how CAE deals with the situation, especially with Aaron as I can see the situation deteriorating if he continues to see his minutes decrease.
Stewart 4 of last 5 (sans one good game against Missouri Valley State) - 13/43 2PT FG, 5/21 3PT FG, 4/11 FTs.
Aaron last 5 games - 12/39 2PT FGs, 4/20 3PT FGs, 3/6 FTs.

Stewart is driving to the rim more now instead of settling for the 3 which I love to see since he is so athletic. I think he can get hot from 3 again, I hope it happens soon - maybe a top opponent in OR will bring out the best in him as AZ did last year at Galen. Aaron is supremely talented - he had a beautiful assist in the second half but then was benched for the remainder. I hope the coaches can help him get on the same page as the rest of the team; he feels like of like an odd man out at the moment.

I think it's becoming increasingly obvious that Aaron is not, as of today, the 5 star player he was projected to be out of highschool. If you blindly watched Melton, Matthews, and Aaron and were asked which were the biggest impact newcomers I think Aaron would be last of those 3, and possibly 4th behind Rakocevic. You do see flashes of his 5 star ability, but he's got to accept that he has to grow into his talent and get to work. I'm not saying he has't, but when Boatwright comes back he's likely going to see his minutes decline, and another transfer isn't the answer. I hope he doesn't put too much pressure on himself and just lets himself be coached, over time, into the player we all know he can be.

I agree with everyone here. Both Stewart and Aaron play as if they have a need to score. They both take hurried shots instead of making the extra pass to get a better look for a teammate. Stewart has a history of being a streaky shooter but Aaron doesn't appear to be a good enough shooter to keep hoisting up bad shots. He looks like a slasher with his ball handling skills and wiry frame and instead of hoisting threes he should be going to the hoop where his finishing and passing skills would be put to better use. The rotation is going to be interesting when Boatright comes back.

One sequence where Shaqquan should've shot the ball is when Chimezie fed him a beautiful pass while he was slashing to the basket. Believe he seen the Oregon State post player flash at him underneath the basket and he quickly took the ball out to the perimeter which resulted to a turn over. He looked pretty OK in the 1H but he seems to unsure of himself when he isn't in rhythm. He's definitely more comfortable with the ball in his hands and creating his own shot, but he needs to adjust on the fly.

When I first saw Aaron at the beginning of the season I was disappointed to see he had appeared to progress the least physically out of any returning player. Maybe he is having trouble going to the hoop and finishing through contact. I still see him as an x-factor who is due for a big game, hopefully when the team needs it most.
