This has to be the most underrated recruiting class in recent memory. First conf road game and all three Frosh are contributing down the stretch. Mathews has really come on, and Nic Rak can play.
The first half had to be one of the best defensively I can remember for the team. Second half, not so much.
JMac is climbing my list of favorite all time SC players. Only took two shots, but four steals, team high 8 rebounds, and 7-8 FTs, including the clinchers.
Team except for Metu did not shoot well, but shot 82% from the line, and won.
I feel bad for Buggs. It is clear his knee is bothering him and CAE is using him in spots. 11 minutes, but four rebounds, two blocks and a big 3 pointer.
One of the very few good things about UCLA being good, is being their travel partner. The Ducks gave it all to win last night, so now we get them on the backside.
Friday night is yuge, and we are playing with House Money. We already have the road split, but if we can sneak a win, break the Ducks home streak and stay undefeated it would be a big boost for the program.

How do we match up, personnel wise, with Oregon?

How do we match up, personnel wise, with Oregon? The biggest issue will be dealing with Oregon's size: Boucher and Bell, and Brooks sneaking to the basket. Oregon is a very deep, well coached team.

I think we all need to brace ourselves for the inevitable loss. Oregon is a legit 2 seed caliber team. The Pac 12 has 3 very good basketball teams in Arizona, Oregon, and UCLA and the middle of the conference is tough. We're still playing without BB and consequently relying on 3 true freshman for a LOT of minutes. We're gonna have some losses. The goal is to get out of the Pac 12 with 10 wins and win 1 or 2 in the tourny for a 24 or 5 in season and middle seeding in the NCAA tourny. I just don't want to have a meltdown if we have a bad game or two.

On paper, this is easily the toughest game on our schedule this season. not sure i can see any game tougher than at pauley. that team has few weaknesses and has 57 cumulative points of 2016 humiliation on their collective mind.
