I'm not sure there is another conference in history where the refs would be protecting a 4-9 team, down by nearly 20 points at Half, against an undefeated team from the biggest media center and metropolitan area in the Conference.
But that's exactly what happened.
In those first 6 minutes of the 2nd Half, Oregon State made 3 FGs -- giving them 10 total FGS for the game at that time -- while, at the same time, USC is being called for 10 fouls, putting Oregon St. into the double-bonus with 14 minutes to go.
With SC now in major foul trouble, Oregon St. then hit 13 FGs in the final 14 minutes.

I actually stopped watching live at that point because it was clear it would be a grind to the end.

As bad as the refs are in football, they are even worse in basketball in the Pac-12. It's such a joke.

It was clear in the last 10 minutes that USC was hesitant to play any defense for fear of being whistled. That still didn't prevent the refs from calling fouls until the very end of the game.
