As seen on the tweets on the right side, Ira Lee to Arizona.
So does this mean SC's chances for Brandon McCoy are much better? (knock on wood)

Wow. Zona and UCLA are really loading up on guys!!
Depending on how a couple things work out, this could be good for us.

Really thought Lee should go to a school where he won't have to battle with 5-stars for playing time every year, but we will see how it works out.

Just look at the situation Chance Comanche has been dealing with. Last year he barely saw the court (and that was while Ray Smith was injured); this season he has not only Ristic to deal with, but also Markkanen, Smith back from injury and juco transfer Keanu Pinder; then next year he gets hit with Ayton (and now Lee). There are no guarantees that Markkanen is gone after this season. If Zona has Markkanen, Ayton and Ristic next season, how many minutes does that leave for Comanche next season, to say nothing of Lee.

Agreed. Or even Parker Jackson-Cartwright, who hasn't improved all that much tbh. I thought he'd have a better chance to maximize his talents at Cal, or even Oregon. Sean Miller seems like he's trying to emulate Kentucky's recruiting mantra with one & done's.

Sean Miller seems like he's trying to emulate Kentucky's recruiting mantra with one & done's. It sure seems that way. But I don't think these guys (other than Ayton) are necessarily one and done types. For example, between Kobi Simmons, Rawle Alkins, Lauri Markkanen and Ray Smith, I don't see any of those guys necessarily being drafted after this season. Markkanen probably has the best shot, but I could see NBA GMs being skeptical.
